Celtics trainer Doc Streams indicates Knicks celebrity Carmelo Anthony place words in Kevin Garnett's mouth

This story just will not die.

In an interview with WEEI Boston, Celtics coach Doc Rivers mentioned that Kevin Garnett by no means produced reference to Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony's wife, that is the alleged utterance that supposedly triggered Anthony to try to confront Garnett immediately after Monday's game, eventually earning himself a suspension for Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers.

"Well, No. one, I am aware what is been reported didn't take place," Rivers stated, as quoted by ESPNBoston.com's Greg Payne. "I understand that like a truth."

Various reports have claimed that Garnett explained anything about Anthony's wife, tv character La La Vazquez, through the Celtics' win above the Knicks on Monday, but Rivers mentioned all of people reports are fully incorrect.

One of the most irritating element in the scenario for Rivers is the fact that Garnett has gone beneath the spotlight, which can be some thing he feels is unfair.

"Guys, you understand how this performs," Rivers explained, as quoted by Payne. "A man does some thing crazy like Carmelo did, as well as the solution to get from difficulty will be to say, 'Well, he mentioned this.' It takes place each of the time, and what bugs me about this entire point is this isn't a Kevin Garnett matter. And it had been produced into a single, and it should not are created into one particular."

Anthony in no way publicly claimed that Garnett attacked his wife, but he did inform reporters, "There are selected items that you just just do not say."

From the finish, none of this seriously issues to your Knicks, who have been forced to perform the Pacers devoid of Anthony.
